Children

For kids from birth to grade 5, St. John’s has several programs and activities. Young kids can participate in Sunday School, Catechism and confirmation classes, communion preparation, Vacation Bible School, choirs and multi-generational events.

Parents who wish to have their baby or child baptized at St. John’s are asked to attend a preparation session to discuss the meaning of baptism and to talk about the details of the day. Baptism preparation is held on the first Saturday of each month at 10:30 a.m. in the Fireside Room. Please call the Church Office if you plan to attend.

VBS/Day Camp is a joint venture this year with Bethel and St. Peter’s Lutheran Churches and will run from August 10 -14.

VBS is for children age 3 (by 9/1/07) – kindergarten (completed). It will be held at St. John’s from 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., Aug. 11 – 14. Registration information is available in the church office.
